Assessment

Engineering is assessed at both Ordinary level and Higher level by means of a terminal examination paper, a student project and a practical examination.

Status

A revised syllabus, Engineering Technology, has been prepared. Implementation of revised syllabuses in the four technology subjects at Leaving Certificate will commence on a phased basis from September 2007.
