Aistear is the curriculum framework for children from birth to six years. The Framework helps children grow and develop as confident and competent learners through fun, interesting and challenging experiences.

The Primary School Curriculum celebrates the uniqueness of each child, and recognises the importance of developing the child's full potential and preparing him/her for lifelong learning.

The junior cycle provides the student with a broad range of learning experiences. It aims to develop the student's knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for study and for life beyond education.

A variety of programmes, including Transition Year, the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme, and the Leaving Certificate Applied, may be taken in senior cycle.
